All About LazyAutomation

la·zy [ley-zee] – Resistant to work or exertion; disposed to idleness.
au·to·ma·tion [aw-tuhmey-shuh n] – The automatic operation or control of equipment, a process, or a system.

LazyAutomation is all about making your life more interesting and easier through technology. Here you can find great ideas to impress your friends and family, all the while having fun.

I have been playing around with gadgets my whole life – so much so that many friends have given me the nickname “Gadget Boy”. Many times, friends will ask – how did you do that and how can I do it in my house? That is exactly what gave me the idea to put together this site. Make no mistake, some of the things that you will find within this site will take some time to implement. It may also require you to spend some time “tinkering” to get it done right. But in the end, you will have some great things to show off. This site is not for the person who wants an “out of the box” setup. There are plenty of sites that will give you that information. But remember, “out of the box” generally means more money. Don’t get me wrong, I’m willing to spend money when I need to, but why should I when, with a little bit of sweat, I can get the same thing for a fraction of the cost? Additionally, “out of the box” generally means that you are very limited to the amount of customization that can be done. And let’s face it, I like to customize stuff!

Many times, before I begin a project, I spend countless hours researching the concept. Through LazyAutomation.com, I will provide my readers with many of those links to help narrow down their searches. There is no reason to do double work, in my opinion!

Feel free to comment on the articles with your thoughts and ideas. Together, we can all make our lives easier through technology!

I hope that you enjoy your visit and come back often.
